The new Customer Engagement Suite promio.connect is now also acoustically staged. Following the major relaunch of the Suite, which brought not only a modern design but also an improved user experience, an additional sensory experience for the users is now appealed to. The sound logo, which appears in the suite during the login process, will also be featured on the promio.net website, in videos, presentation materials, etc.
Have you heard the sound logo yet?
But why have your own sound logo and what exactly is sound branding?
Before we met Süleyman and Jan from Akkas Music, we asked ourselves the same question. That's why we've included a small marketing detour on the topic of sound branding in this blog post.
Companies are increasingly using their image to make their mark in these times of only minor differences in quality and great brand diversity. In this context, sound branding can help to create added value, promote the awareness of the brand or the company and consequently shape the image in the long run. Sound branding or audio branding means the use of acoustic stimuli as an element of the marketing strategy. This can be a soundlogo, a jingle, a brand soundtrack etc.
Brands are thus given an auditory identity which, in addition to the visual marketing methods, appeals to the acoustic senses of the target group, thereby considerably increasing marketing efficiency. While the number of communication channels is increasing, the attention span of the target groups is decreasing, especially in the age of digitalization. So there are some challenges to overcome when it comes to building a brand. When establishing and spreading a brand or a product, many companies place great importance on an attractive appearance or an extravagant design, which is very crucial to do.
It is the right sound, however, that turns the brand into an emotional experience by triggering a positive feeling in the target group. Consequently, the brand as a whole is given a tangible identity and, as a result, it anchors itself much more firmly in the minds of potential customers and may have a positive influence on the decision to make a purchase. Sound branding helps companies to explicitly differentiate themselves from their competitors by linking the brand to a specific emotion.
Always remember: you can look away, but you cannot easily avoid listening.
promio.net is now using the advantage of a sound logo, that was created by Akkas Music on the basis of our corporate identity. Many thanks to Akkas Music for this contribution to our blog and our great sound logo!
