Big Data is the hot topic of conversation - but what is the best way to collect relevant data and how can the complex amounts of data be used most effectively? New and special features were developed for promio.mail. promio.mail collects and processes relevant data and derives decisions (Big Data). From the stored data, a precisely customized and automated e-communication is generated (Data Driven Marketing).

promio.mail was equipped with the following new features:

  • Workflow editor for automated campaigns
  • Post-Delivery Optimization for increased performance
  • CSS editor with live customization

The Workflow Editor makes it easy to create automated campaigns: Tasks such as filters, scheduling, shipping, etc. can be done via drag & drop. There are almost no limits to creativity in email communication and the interaction with the customer can be continuously maintained with reduced effort. Great advantage: a specific reference to an event in the lifecycle attracts extra attention. Furthermore, emails can also be modified and replaced during ongoing dispatch. This increases reaction time and flexibility. Templates (welcome campaign, reactivation mailing, sales trigger) are provided for creating automated campaigns. An integrated process validation function ensures secure delivery before a campaign goes live.

Aside from automated campaign planning, Post-Delivery Optimization can now be used to improve performance. Several creatives can be assigned to each ad. During shipping, the most successful Ad Creative is determined and only the winning Creative will be delivered. Everything is done in real time and fully automatically - even after starting to send. A winning ad is only determined in at least 10% of all openings, ensuring representativeness. Then follows the placement of the most successful Ad Creative in the emails not yet opened but sent. Another highlight is the "Multi-Device Consistency": Even when an email is re-opened on another device, the most successful Ad Creative is still displayed. Plus: The Ad Creative can be given an order value in Euro. Thus a further indicator for a success measurement is provided. As one of the first promio.net customers, the specialized publishing house for computer knowledge tested Post-Delivery Optimization - with considerable success. Turnover has almost tripled, while setup is significantly faster.

The new responsive CSS editor offers unlimited creativity when composing emails. Changes to the content immediately appear in the live preview. An implemented Responsive Design function enables a preview of the email in all common resolutions of different end devices - whether mobile, tablet or desktop. This guarantees control over the entire layout and the content set up. Another great advantage: You can create and include your own template. For the design of templates, promio.net provides an Open Template Mark-up Language. Creative customers or agencies thus are provided with the necessary variables for creating their own templates.
