Only a few days left until Christmas. Our office is also getting ready for the holidays. We finished decorating the office for Christmas as early as the beginning of December, including a Christmas tree, Advent wreath and small Christmas decorations for each employee. Who wouldn't get in the Christmas spirit now?
And last week our much anticipated employee Christmas party took place. In stead of professional cooks, this year we all stood together at the stove and created our own Christmas menu. Under the supervision of professional chef Erwin, the food was chopped, cooked and then served. We had a lot of fun as a team and dinner was of course delicious.
You want to know what we cooked? The menu consisted of four courses, starting with duck breast in mulled wine on a baked apple - chutney and lamb's lettuce on the side. This was followed by a parsley root soup with smoked salmon. The main course was a stuffed veal filet, a red cabbage with quince and roasted napkin dumplings. The final highlight was a roasted Spekulatius cream and a christmassy plum sorbet.
Now the holidays are just around the corner and it is time to relax, spend time with the family and then start the new year with great energy. The promio.net team wishes you peaceful holidays and a happy new year.
